What we collect

• Booking details: your name, phone number, email, property address and postcode, the service you choose, dates, and any notes you give us such as access instructions or pets.
• Account details: if you create an account, your name, email, phone number and an encrypted version of your password. We never see your actual password.
• Photos: if you request a quote, any photos you choose to upload of the property or job.
• Gift vouchers: the buyer's name and email, and the name, email and message for the person it's for, if given.
• Job applications: your name, contact details, postcode, experience, availability and anything you tell us in your application.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Why we use it

• To arrange, carry out and invoice your clean. Our legal basis is that this is needed to perform our contract with you.
• To contact you about your booking, such as confirmations, reminders the day before, changes and cancellations.
• To send one email after your clean asking how it went, with a link to leave a review. Our legal basis is our legitimate interests in hearing your feedback. Just reply if you'd rather not get these.
• To email gift vouchers to the buyer and, if asked, to the person it's for.
• To consider job applications. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.
• To improve our service and handle complaints. Our legal basis is our legitimate interests in running the business well.

We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. Your account, bookings and job applications are stored securely with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in Ireland (EU), which UK data protection law recognises as giving an adequate level of protection. Quote photos are stored privately with Supabase and only our staff can see them. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card details. Our emails are sent through Resend. We also share information with services that help us run the business, such as our accountant and insurer. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

• Booking and payment records: 6 years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
• Accounts: until you ask us to close your account. Email us and we will delete it.
• Quote photos: 12 months, unless the job goes ahead.
• Unsuccessful job applications: 6 months.

Information stored in your browser

If you log in, this website keeps you signed in by saving a secure login token in your browser. It may also save a copy of recent bookings on your device. This stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may count visits using Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not collect personal information or track you across websites.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
